Recover the Losses

Our fees depend on a variety of factors. If a suit is filed, a fee is only paid when the client's suit is successful and a settlement is awarded. At this point, a 33 1/3% fee is placed on any recovery you receive that is settled before trial or arbitration begins. A 40% fee applies on any recovery after the trial begins. An hourly fee is available for non-litigation work.

 

Out-of-pocket costs are often a key component to the process and are not a part of the attorney fees. These charges include, but are not limited to, medical record copies, attorney conferences with your doctors, doctor's reports, forensic investigation, expert witness fees, court reporting fees and arbitration and trial court fees. 

The Indiana State Bar ethical rules require the client to assume responsibility for these costs if the client is able to pay. You will be billed for these costs but will not incur payment unless you receive benefits.
